Roflcopter! Drunkaments!

Posted under Blog on April 5

On the latest episode of the Premier League, Vicky Coren not only showed she can be a total weak tight donkey heads-up as well as 6 handed, but she can be a drunken ditzy blonde, just like her looks suggest! After being dominated to a 2-0 (best of 3) loss by Tony G, check out [...]

You suck Vicky Coren!

Posted under Blog on March 28

Now, if you have ever seen the journalist and (bad) poker player Vicky Coren play, you will know she is quite possibly the worst weak-tight player to appear with relative frequency on TV. The following is a clip from the last heat of the Premier League. We pick up the action 5 handed, and due [...]

Do you like coinflips? - Phil doesn’t

Posted under Blog on March 20

The following is a clip from a recent episode of the poker Premier League. It is the penultimate heat match, and it is these 6 players’ last chance to earn some points before the playoffs begins. Phill Hellmuth appears to be perhaps a little too cognisant of the importance of the game and plays a [...]

First video post - well executed bluff

Posted under Blog, Poker Strategy on March 5

As promised, here is my first video post. I describe a hand I played a couple of days ago where I floated a TAG player in position over 3 streets, and took the pot off him on the river.  Comments and suggestions are welcome!

It just doesn’t happen online…..

Posted under Blog on March 5

If you are one of those who think that the online sites deal out more bad beats, check out this video of the  Full Tilt Million Dollar cash game. The first hand sees Erik Seidel flop a set, but alas, not enough to hold up against the eternal luckbox, Gus Hansen!

In the words of Gus [...]

(from 1,500)

(from 4,000)

Requirement lowered to 7,500 VPPs per month

The higher up in levels you [...]

All hail King Phil Hellmuth!!!

Posted under Blog on March 4

For those of you who live in the UK and saw the poker Premier League last night, you will know just how well Phil Hellmuth played. In recent episodes he had looked like a weak fish, but in this heat he was making well-timed bluffs left, right and centre, not to mention absolutely sick calls…..

That, [...]

I’m back…..

Posted under Blog on March 3

The observant among you will notice that this is my first post of the New year. As you can tell from my post in December I was feeling the burnout effects of mass multi-tabling grinding. Thus, I took some time in January and February to focus my energies on a few other projects. I have [...]

Burnout

Posted under Blog on December 8

Like most things in life, too much of the one thing can be bad for you……
Last month I set myself  some challenging full ring goals on Everest Poker.  I set a monetary goal and a frequent player points goal. The monetary goal I felt would be easily obtainable, considering the approximate 4.00 BB/100 winrate I [...]

Running bad sucks!

Posted under Blog on November 9

Well folks, this week I have played some pretty damn good poker in my opinion. Unfortunately the poker Gods seem to be having their fun at my expense my shit*ting all over me! I have been on the wrong end of countless set on set encounters, KK v AA and fish hitting sets on my [...]
