I Don't Need a Job

Well folks, this week I have played some pretty damn good poker in my opinion. Unfortunately the poker Gods seem to be having their fun at my expense my shit*ting all over me! I have been on the wrong end of countless set on set encounters, KK v AA and fish hitting sets on my big overpairs with bad implied odds. Add into the mix of fish hitting ever single flush draw with any 2 sooted cards, I am very happy to still be in the black for this week.

Anyway, I came across a great article on Pocketfives’ website. It not only explains the nature of a downswing with useful analogies, but also has some great elements of positive thinking advice. Definitely an article to print out and read next time the poker Gods repeatedly defecate upon you!
